Inspiration is contagious.

Filmmaker Andrew Lahmann and photographer Matt McDaniel, both Toledo High School graduates from the class of 2000, have climbed aboard the inspiration train and produced an awesome, 5-minute video trailer showcasing the energy, spirit and dedication of Toledo community members.

Project Showcase Toledo

“This will be the ignition to the Toledo community’s fuel tanks, the inspiration needed to really reveal to the students what you are all capable of doing,” the two said on their website, www.projectshowcase.org. “Eyes will open and smiles will be abundant as Toledo students are showcased in the material we are putting together.”

Lahmann, McDaniel and sound engineer James Bretz have lent their considerable talents to Toledo’s reawakening, but say their main goal is to inspire students and community members to think of creative new ways to use their individual skills to help improve the town.

“We want you to tap into your interests and talents,” Lahmann and McDaniel said. “Rally your peers around you who can bring their talents to your efforts to make it that much more powerful. The point is that we want you to utilize your existing skills and talents to help the community, and that’s a win-win for everyone.”
